I am a poet.

Probably not a good one, but a poet none-the-less. I love art, and I love words ... so poetry is one of the best things ever for me. I write mostly for self-expression, and every now and then I'll let others in, too. Here is one of my latest (and one I'm proud of, I must say). I think about God a lot; He is one of my favorite subjects to write about.


Trinity

Mountains, steeps, peaks
Majestic, magnificent, strong
Rising, looming, pointing
Above.

Snow, lakes, streams
Pure, clear, refreshing
Falling, flowing, running
Down.

Rocks, trees, glaciers
Massive, stable, secure
Protecting, sheltering, providing
Safety.

Birds, deer, squirrels
Light, graceful, playful
Soaring, inspiring, bringing
Joy.

Flowers, grass, colors
Bright, brilliant, sharp
Sparkling, dazzling, displaying
Beauty.

Wind, breeze, breath
Able, cool, content
Lifting, wafting, whistling
Music.

Silence, stillness, calmness
Peaceful, quiet, serene
Promising, inviting, unleashing
Rest.

Man, creature, creation
Small, complex, vast
Reaching, praising, reflecting
Glory.
